How To Make Money On The Internet! Or How Not To!

Well if you are reading this article then that means you really want to make money online!

But I bet your totally confused and don't know what's real anymore?

And your probably kind of sick of all seeing the same things and over and over again, and not knowing if they work. You probably hear positive things and negative things about every program out there. I know I do!

Seriously if I see one more web page or add about selling on ebay or filling out survey's im going to go crazy.

I've been on the internet now for along time, I've gone in circles and tried everything there is to make money. After all things are said and done, the main thing I realized is, if someone is trying to sell you the information for a dollar amount $ (whatever it may be) without giving you even the slightest idea of what you are buying, then DON'T BUY IT!

You will end up getting the same thing you probably bought 3 times already.

I think it is pointless for a business to try and sell something to a customer, but yet only tell you "You will make money!" umm ya how?

I mean that's like going into a shoe store and the sales person saying "Buy these shoes, they will help you walk, but you can't see them until you give me the money!"

WOULD YOU BUY THE SHOES?
The best plan for any business that I can give advice to, is come up with a business plan where you tell the customer what their doing and how it's done, but only hold back say: the name of the company you need to buy the products from or whatever it may be.

There are a few sites out there that are actually worth your time and will offer you free information. These sites are often ignored because they are free, and for some reason today in society people seem to think if something is free then it is of no value! That's actually the farthest thing from the truth. The best things in life are free, (we all know this).

I am going to go over a few things that repeatedly show up on the internet again and again, trying to make you buy their information, only to find out that you will make less money doing what they suggest, than what you paid for it!

1. Selling on Auction sites or Buying wholesale lists.(Drop shipping)

Ok selling on auction sites can be a means to earn money, but it depends on what you're selling. If you own a brick and mortar store (a real live store) it can be a way to add to your revenue and sell extra things on the side. But selling of the internet (droppshiped item) or buying wholesale items, is usually a complete waste of time. Think about how many people those wholesale lists are available to, and how many people are going to be competing with you to sell that same item. This in turn leaves you with very little profit. Not to mention that almost all wholesale lists online are out of date and most of the time the items are not even actually whole sale priced. Plus you must pay the listing fee for your item, the final sale value %, and then other fees for processing payments! In the end you really only made like $3 and hour. Is that worth your time?

I'm not saying every product is like that, there are a few niche items (if you can find them) that might sell well and have a good conversion for you, but as soon as you find them so will someone else, and on and on the cycle goes!

2. Filling out Surveys.

DON'T DO IT!
This has to be the biggest waste of time on the internet today. I personally have never even touched that area. I know allot of people who have though, and it has only led to disappointment. There are so many sites promising you $10 here $40 there to fill out a simple online survey.

Ok so first they want you to pay to find out where the surveys are, and then when you pay them and go to fill out the survey's you find out that to your surprise, you must qualify to fill out the survey. For example: You must be between 5'9 and 5'10 , weight 62lbs and not eat for three days, you must have black hair and blue eyes and live on the moon! So hmm I guess I don't get the $40?

Or you can fill out 2 hour surveys about what brand of toothpaste you like and you will get paid $2! Need I say more?

3. Online Rebate Processors

This one is kind of new to the online world of offers. There are a few sites (that look very
similar!) that offers you a list of people to work for, and promising you $15 a rebate. OK this depends on the price of the rebate, the company you are issuing the rebate for and on and on. As far I know, there is only one company that actually pays that (off the list they give you) and they won't accept any more employees. So unless you want to spend $40 to get the list and then make about $1 a rebate, don't waste your time.

4. Billing processor, medical billing specialist or transcriptionist.
All I have to say about this one is if you are interests make sure you look for work through a local business that you can actually talk to and call. Or you will end up working for some random office in Malaysia or some foreign country getting paid .12 cents an hour.

5. Paid to surf
There are many, many sites out there promising you money to surf the net or read emails. That's because they are trying to get you to sign up for their programs. You get paid like .1 cent an email and a few cents a web page as long as you're at the web page for at least 30 to 60 seconds. That's a total waste of time.

6. Getting a free website to sell other peoples things!
Ok this will make you a few buck here and there, but the amount it costs to advertise, and then the small % you get back in return isn't really worth it. Really you are just making money for the person above you and they are giving you a very small % of what they make. Also there is so much competition in this market that you have to find a very small niche with very specific products that are not so over marketed.

7. Forex (trading currencies)
Is actually one of the best ways to make money online, if you practice a little and know what you're doing. The reason some people over look this is because there is a work involved and you need to learn the system. It's not a get rich quick scheme, but it is a get rich long term scheme.
Forex is : The currency trading (FOREX) market is the biggest and fastest growing market on earth. Its daily turnover is more than 2.5 trillion dollars. The participants in this market are banks, organizations, investors and private individuals, just like you.

8. The EASY FREE INCOME SYSTEM
This is a hard to explain system, but I have used it for over a year and it's worked for me this long. The reason I think it's a good system in the first place is because of exactly what I said earlier, you don't have to pay a single cent to get all the information there is to get about the system. People make a great living off of it and it's totally free. You get a free ebook to read it all over, and it doesn't involve anything I have mentioned above. No marketing, no forms, no calling, no selling or buying, no emailing, no nothing really! And when something's free and promises to make you a good income, I always check it out. I mean what can it hurt, it's free? You can get a free copy for yourself at http://www.easyfreeincome.com/

It's something I enjoy, its fun and I make really good money from it. Its not hard to do and you get all the info for free, which is a huge bonus from my point of view or anyone that is trying to find a good income earner but don't want to pay before they know what it is!

So that is my opinion on the latest online money makers! I can't speak for everyone, but I have extensively tested or know someone who has tested, all the methods above.
I hate to see people waste their time, because there are so many things out there that are a huge time waster.

I have been online now for along time, and have tested program after program, I wrote this article to share my ventures and to try to give some advice, whoever it may help, so that people who are new to the online industry of making money might have some direction on where to go or what to try and not try.

I will continue to write articles on all new money making methods I try, until then good luck and I hope you benefit from this advice.

The Secret to Success in a Home Based Business

So you are looking to quit your job and start a home based business, but really has no idea where to begin. All you know is they are sick of the J.O.B. (just over broke) and want to fire your boss and have more money and more time to enjoy life. Sounds great doesn't it? With vim and vigor you sit down at your computer and begin to search Home Based Business on your favorite search engine.

After a half hour of visiting web sites, you discover that there are really three categories of home based businesses available: 1) tele-commuting jobs, 2) Data Entry Positions, and 3) Network Marketing Opportunities or MLM's. Let's look at these three options.

Tele-Commuting Jobs These don't really qualify as a home based business, because it is still a J.O.B. where you will still have a boss to answer to which is what you were trying to get away from in the first place. You must be qualified for the position offered, which most of us aren't.
Data Entry Positions There are a million of these out there that say you can make money at home by filling out surveys or processing rebates from your computer. Many of these are scams, but there is some where you can honestly make some money. Will you get rich doing this? Probably not. The big problem with this home base business is it is very time consuming. You get paid so little for each survey or rebate that you process that you would have to work as many if not more hours than you were at your last job to make the same amount of money. So much for having more time to enjoy life.

Network Marketing Opportunities These have the most potential to help you achieve your dreams of any home based business, but they are not without their pitfalls either. Just like Data Entry, there are a million of these out there and the majority of them don’t make it more than two years. So you have to be careful which organization you align yourself with. Take a good look at the person that will be your sponsor in the organization. Maker sure they can help you grow your business and will act as a mentor to coach and motivate you, not just recruit you and then disappear. With the right company and mentor a network marketing home based business can be extremely lucrative and rewarding.

Whichever route you choose, understand that you will have to put in a lot of hard work to build your home based business. Develop a business plan and put it to work. Treat it like a business and it will grow. Don’t expect to get something for nothing; there is no free lunch in the world today. Best of luck in your new endeavor and have fun.

How To Start A Top Home Based Business In A Litigious Society

How to start a top home based business in a litigious society is a lot like asking how to go clam digging in shark invested waters. While there is a modicum of safety, the fish are always nearby and failure to observe the advancing waters will result in an unscheduled though anticipated meal for the sharks. It is wisest to break down the various steps to starting and protecting your business:

1. Create a business plan. How many businesses get started without one is a staggering number that defies explanation! Of course, these are also the businesses which are doomed to fail not too long thereafter. A properly executed business plan will define and limit the scope of the business, set financial benchmarks that serve to identify success, failure, and needs to rethink strategy, scope, expansion, or marketing, and it will point out any areas that may invite governmental intervention.

2. Identify the areas that may bring you in contact with governmental rules and regulations by virtue of the business' nature. In other words, a food business is certain to require permits and inspections; a daycare business will need inspections and licenses, and so forth. Compile the names of the applicable government agencies, their contact information, and then investigate the steps that you need to take to get your business off the ground in a legal manner.

3. Consult with your tax accountant about tax liabilities and filing requirements.

4. Visit with your small business attorney to ensure that you and your personal assets are protected. Generally speaking, this requires the formation of a limited liability corporation and while it is easy to accomplish, it is not unwise to have a legal professional look over the papers prior to filing them.

5. Contact your insurance professional to discuss your venture and explore any insurance needs that may come up. This is particularly crucial if you are planning on running a top home based business exclusively out of your home or if you will be transporting consumers in the scope of your activity. Do not rely on your run of the mil home owner's insurance or standard car insurance to foot the bill if something happens to your clients during working activities.

Although one would like to believe that how to start a top home based business is as simple as deciding to turn a hobby into a professional money maker, the sad reality showcases that because of litigation - either private party lawsuits or governmental actions brought against you and your business - many a home based business entrepreneur will have to close her or his doors within just a few short months of throwing them open.

Perhaps not surprisingly, the frustration of these thwarted would be entrepreneurs is tangible when it comes to light that with but a bit of foresight, protection, and savvy engineering they could have all but suit proofed their business! Do not become part of that group and instead choose to have your ducks in a row before you actually start your business and open it to the public.

Are You Still Looking For That Hot Business To Work From Home?

My Testimony:

Are you still looking for an online business opportunity? There are so many out there, but which one is good for you? I have been involved in so many of these so called businesses. I finally got fed up with all their HYPE and no mentoring help! Every MLM I joined, I was promised how much money I was going to make & how they were going to help me make money. . It really excited me to hear this. Being the sole provider for my family, I really needed to make a lot of money. So I would listen to anyone that had a solution to increase my financial situation. After spending thousands of dollars and listening to a lot of hype and empty promises, I quit looking.

Finally, I received a call from a genuine and sincere person who didn't make all these promises.

Instead, he showed me how to generate traffic to my site. He was very patient with me and showed me techniques that were really working. The best thing about it, I didn't pay for any of the advertising. SWEET! Furthermore, he showed me proof of the revenue he was generating by using the techniques he was teaching me. I was so impressed with this system and his mentoring, I joined his team. The entire team was very helpful. This was very shocking. I told myself, "I finally found what I was looking for." So, don't get disgruntled if you haven't found the right one yet. It is out there. Just keep looking.

What Does It Take To Work From Home?

So you think you've got what it takes to work from home and are ready to take the plunge. Good for you! Maybe you're a stay-at-home mom looking for a little extra income. Or perhaps you want to quit your full-time job to focus more on your family. Whatever the reason, there are few things more satisfying than taking control of your time and your income potential. But, as you are probably aware, with your so-called freedom and flexibility come many challenges.

Here are a few challenges you will likely face as you make this transition into work-at-home momhood.

Discipline to Work - You know that the laundry will be calling your name. The temptation to scrub those dishes will be ever present, as will the desire to call your best friend to chat instead of making those business calls. Being home all day puts you in a major distraction zone. There are certainly things that have to be done but without the discipline to actually get to work, your work-at-home business will be shutting down in no time.

Discipline to Rest - On the flip side, you need to know when to quit. People who work from home are more likely to describe themselves as workaholics. Because your office is only a few steps away, work is always in sight and on your mind. And it often takes discipline to refocus your energy and your thoughts on more important things - like your family.

Flexibility. Realize that things are bound to happen that require you to be able to drop what you are doing and pick it up at a later time. Illness, appliance repairs, school matters, and other interruptions that are beyond your control. The good news is most women are naturally better than men when it comes to multi-tasking. We can talk on the phone, feed the baby and type an email at the same time. When you work at home, you need to be able to switch hats at record speed and sometimes wear several at once.

Isolation. If you're known as a social butterfly, the isolation you will encounter when working from home will certainly be a challenge. There may be days when you feel lonely and desperate for some adult interaction. Be sure to regularly make time for lunch or coffee with a friend, sign up for an occasional educational class or lecture, or schedule play dates for your kids along with other moms who also need to get out.

Organization. Research shows that an unorganized office or home results in added stress. There is much wisdom in the adage: A place for everything and everything in its place. Of course, you actually live in your home and work in your office so spotless and completely clutter free is virtually impossible. However, simply taking a few moments each day to de-clutter and straighten things up will do wonders for your sanity.

One last thing you'll need to acquire is the ability to cut yourself some slack. If you have an unproductive day, tell yourself tomorrow will be better. Give yourself plenty of room for making mistakes and learning just what it takes to work from home. As you begin this new venture of work-at-home mom, hopefully you'll find that any challenge you'll face won't compare to the blessing of being home with your kids.

Who Should Have A Home Based Business?

Having a home based business can provide a household stability when the economy is bad. Also most home based businesses are usually not effected by regional changes in the economy and with a home based business you have the ability to deduct expenses that you may already be incurring.

A home based business is a must when you an an apartment dweller because when you live in an apartment you pay the most taxes of anyone. At least when you own your own home your mortgage interest is deductible.. But even when you own a home you pay for everything after paying taxes. For example to spend $100 you have to pay the taxes on your income first before you spend the $100. If you are able to write these expenses off you get to pay the expenses and subtract them from you income and pay taxes on the balance usually at a lower tax bracket.. So when you spend $100 you just have to make $100.

Tax deductions should never be the primary reason for having a home based business and of course picking the wrong home based business does not help your situation either. Many home based businesses have been known to cost more than you make and so many people are hesitant in joining just any business. I have been in several home based businesses and I can tell you that not all businesses are created equal. Many businesses are set up that it is almost impossible for most in the company to make any money.

Having said that everyone should have a home-based business, but no one should attempt to start one without some basic training. A person in a trade does not attempt to do that trade without training so why should you believe that you should be able to jump into a business with no training.

Training can be expensive. To own a McDonald's franchise the owner has to go to Hamburger University. An accountant has to go to school to be an accountant, so why should you not have to go to school to own a business.

When a distributor joins a network marketing organization the new distributor should be coached and mentored for free by someone in the organization and the new distributor should be shown what they need to do to get the best tax breaks. You want all your new distributors to be very successful so there should be specified training for each distributor. While they are training start to build their business and show them where to get help for free. If your system is duplicatable they will do the same for their new distributors.

There should be a 30 day trial period where they can back out if they believe this business is not for them. Unfortunately most businesses do not offer this trial period.
